When I first established this business back in 1986 with a small workshop in The Loup, I had a simple vision: to build a company rooted in quality, hard work, and family values. Looking out at how far we have come – and seeing the incredible scale of modern modular construction we deliver today across the UK and Ireland – fills me with immense pride.

While our facilities have expanded and our engineering has reached new heights, our core identity remains completely unchanged. We are still a family business, deeply committed to our local community, our brilliant workforce, and the trusted partnerships that got us here.

I am incredibly proud to watch the next generation take the reins and guide us into the future. Thank you to each and every one of you for your support, your dedication, and for being a vital part of our forty year journey.

Pat McVey establishes the business in The Loup, laying the groundwork for forty years of construction excellence.

1987

The company appoints its very first employee, starting the transition from a solo venture to a collaborative team.

The workforce exceeds five employees, and the company successfully breaks into the rigorous public sector market.

2002

Infrastructure Expansion

The first dedicated manufacturing factory is completed in The Loup to meet rising regional demand.

2010

Manufactured First Jackleg Cabin

The company hits a significant production milestone by manufacturing its very firstJackleg cabin.

2013

The Modular Revolution

P. McVey manufactures its very first brand-new modular building, shifting the business model toward modern off-site construction.

2015

National Footprint

Secures major UK and Irelandprocurement frameworks, opening doors to large-scale national infrastructure projects.

Strategic Acquisition
