McVey's Riders and Striders: 100 Hour Charity Challenge
P McVey Building Systems is excited to announce a 100-hour non-stop walking and cycling charity challenge taking place from 8am Monday 16th December to 12 noon Friday 20th December, outside our office at Unit 3 Creagh Business Park, Toomebridge, Antrim, BT41 3UF. This event aims to raise vital funds for Charis Cancer Care and The Olive Branch.
Throughout the challenge, our staff will cycle and walk continuously—even through the night—to raise funds and awareness for these critical causes. The event will also feature a festive atmosphere, complete with a Christmas tree and music. Charis Cancer Care
Charis Cancer Care, provide a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals affected by cancer at every stage of their journey, as well as their families, supporters, and those bereaved by cancer. Their focus is on the whole person, addressing physical, psychological, and emotional needs. Their complementary approach covers services, including psychological counselling, nutritional advice, body therapies, reflexology, massage, and aromatherapy. For people living with cancer – Charis’ role is assisting them to understand and help themselves.
Working alongside clinical treatments, they provide free therapies in comfortable, purpose-designed treatment rooms, with individual sessions available. Their dedicated team listens, supports, and helps clients navigate their cancer journey in a warm, nurturing setting.

The Olive Branch
The Olive Branch provides a compassionate and safe environment for individuals facing mental health challenges or crisis. Their mission is to offer support that empowers individuals to navigate difficult times with hope and resilience. The charity focuses on the whole person, addressing emotional, psychological, and social needs to promote overall well-being.
Their services include one-to-one counselling and therapeutic interventions tailored to those struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or other mental health issues.
The Olive Branch also provides tools and guidance to help individuals manage their challenges and regain confidence in their lives. All support is delivered free of charge by a team of trained and empathetic professionals in a welcoming and non-judgmental setting. The Olive Branch ensures that every client feels heard, valued, and equipped to move forward with their mental health journey.
