Role Description

Following a period of exciting company expansion and as we approach our 40th Anniversary, P McVey Building Systems is looking for a creative, energetic, and highly organised Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing team at our Toomebridge headquarters.

You will be the engine behind our digital presence, capturing the day-to-day excellence of our factory and site teams, and turning our modular building projects into engaging, high-performing content while working closely with the Marketing Manager to drive our broader commercial goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Lead the end-to-end production of engaging content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.
  • On-Camera Presence: While you’ll often be behind the lens, you must be confident appearing on camera when required to present updates, interview staff, or host behind the scenes tours.
  • Multimedia Production: Utilise our in-house investment in professional camera equipment and drones to capture high-quality footage of our projects and people.
  • Engagement & Growth: Manage our social channels daily, staying ahead of platform trends to ensure the McVey brand remains industry leading.
  • Consistency & Reliability: As an in-house team member, you will ensure a consistent stream of content that aligns with our goals and objectives.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with our factory and contracts departments to pull authentic stories from the team, making the technical aspects of building systems accessible and engaging.

The Person

  •  Understand social media and its importance in building brand equity.
  •   Interesting in helping to monitor paid activity and ensuring content performs well in sponsored slots.
  • Comfortable using (or quick to learn) professional cameras, drones, and mobile editing suites.
  • You can walk onto a busy construction site and build rapport with the team to get the best footage.
  • Happy to take on varied responsibilities to support the Marketing Manager in broader team objectives.
