Role Description
As a Joiner at P McVey Building Systems, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry and joinery work across our projects. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all installations are completed safely, accurately, and to the highest standards, supporting our commitment to safe, sustainable, and well-crafted buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all aspects of carpentry and joinery work to a high standard.
Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and plans.
Assemble, install, and maintain joinery components on site.
Ensure work is completed within agreed timescales and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and site managers to deliver successful outcomes.
Follow strict health and safety practices at all times.
Requirements / Skills
Proven experience and strong knowledge of joinery techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to interpret technical plans and drawings.
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential).
